Get in Touch

This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, pull official records, release anyone, or post bond. Contact the office that holds the information.

Choose the Correct Office

Costilla County uses separate contacts for custody, police reports, court outcomes, and state-prison records. Start with the office tied to the question. Records hours and a fixed booking-photo fee are not published by the sheriff, so request an estimate and response date rather than assuming either.

Use these routes for common requests:

  • Ask CCSO dispatch where a named person is physically held. Housing arrangements can change, so do not assume the jail location.
  • Request a booking sheet, booking photograph, or CCSO arrest report in writing from sheriff records. Name the person, date, agency, and case or booking number if known.
  • Request a Blanca incident or arrest report from Blanca Police Department. CCSO remains the route for the booking sheet, image, and custody location unless officials name another custodian.
  • Ask Costilla Combined Court about filed charges and the disposition, which is the court's final outcome. A booking entry states allegations, not guilt.
  • For a person serving a Colorado state sentence, use the Colorado Department of Corrections Offender Search or its open-records process.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the official federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator rather than a county office.

Emergency lines are for urgent public-safety needs, not routine record requests. The Costilla County Busted Mugshots home page explains the full official search and request path.
